New this month:

We also added a Vietnam War outline.  This can be read online or printed.  It prints on both sides of a single sheet, and covers the entire length of the conflict (1945-1975).

Several users complained that, while they like the content of the Industrial Revolution PowerPoint, it is simply too long. We fixed this by dividing each section of the PowerPoint into separate presentations. We also recreated each presentation as a printable outline.

Like most of the world, we have been watching events unfolding in the Middle East -- turmoil in Libya, revolution in Egypt, etc. Several teachers wrote asking for teaching materials and ideas for effectively discussing these current events in the classroom. To this end, we have created a discussion facts sheet on the Middle East, examining leaders, signs of oppression, etc. You can print the handout here.

Promotions:

Over the past several weeks, we have sent out even more promotional tote bags.  We are trying to spread the word about this website.  If you would like to spread the word with a free tote bag (which can be used for schoolwork, groceries, etc., and helps cut down on the number of plastic bags produced), send us an email at [email protected].  Put "Tote Bag" as the subject, and include your name and mailing address in the body of the email.  And no worries...we never share your information with others.
