Tomb (Sepulcher) of Galileo Galilei (February 15, 1564-January 8, 1642) in Italy. Galileo Galileo is perhaps the most famous astronomer in human history. Convicted of heresy by the Inquisition, Galileo spent the last years of his life under house arrest.
