Benjamin Franklin, a founding father of the United States of America. Ben Franklin was a famous polymath, with expertise in a great many areas. He discovered electricity through his famous kite experiment. He served as the United States minister to France as well as to Sweden. He was the president of Pennsylvania in the late 1780s.
