Meeting place of the Czechoslovakian Parliament, Prague. This building, known as the Rudolphinum, was erected for a conservatory of music and art gallery. Prague, the capital of Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic), has long been an educational center. Its university was founded in the fourteenth century, and is one of the oldest in Europe.
