This table chart worksheet features the names of seven pioneers in the movement for equal civil rights for women and minorities: Susan B. Anthony, Mary McLeod Bethune, Eleanor Roosevelt, Rosa Parks, Jackie Robinson, Cesar Chavez, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Dates for each person's birth and death are given, to aid in having students understand the time period in which each lived. There is room in each "name box" to add incidental information--place of birth, etc.
Under "What did this person do?" students list each leader's achievements. For example, Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus, prompting a bus boycott, which led to integration of public buses.
The depth of information teachers ask students to display will reflect the student grade level.
